Kaylee excited to have company in the backseat

Welcome to having two kids now in the back seat

Kaylee insisted on holding mommy's hand while she was being walked out, what a big helper

On our way out

Mama C. brought Kaylee one of her own American Doll Bitty Babies, when she got it she told everyone it came out of her tummy like mommy's.

Daddy and his girls.

Kaylee meets us at the hospital to take Kennadee home

Mom and her two matching girls, thanks Mama C. for the "going home" outfits

Closeup of all her dark hair and the special Halloween bow they gave her at the nursery

Nana and Kennadee. Thanks Nana for coming to take care of Kaylee while we were in the hospital!

When Kaylee came for a visit, mommy surprised her with the big sister shirt she made her.

Kaylee was there to hold little sis right after she was born, during the 5 minutes of pushing, Kaylee sat with the nurses at the nurse station, thanks to mama and grandpa for getting up at 4 am to come rescue Kaylee from us.

Kennadee Brynn Haggard weighed 7lbs, 6 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long

KENNADEE BRYNN IS HERE!

It was a crazy situation. As you know we live in the country, about 25 minutes from the hospital. Of course Jama's contractions couldn't start out as the normal 20 minutes apart, no, they started at midnight on 10/9/08 only 3 minutes apart. Being so close together we didn't even think it was real labor at first but they were so strong we decided to literally "book it" to the hospital just in case, running as many red lights and stop signs as possible. We arrived at the hospital at 1am, Kaylee in tote. We were told none of our long distance family members would make it in time to come rescue Kaylee from us, so unfortunately we had her in the delivery room the entire time, middle of the night, cranky as can be (did I mention kids are actually not even allowed). The on call Dr. arrived around 3:20 am and Kennadee was born at 3:46 am. She came out in about 2 pushed, not more than 5 minutes. It was such as quick labor, 3 1/2 hours from first contraction to delivery, we all barely made it to the hospital! Kennadee weighed 7lbs 6 oz and 20 1/2 inches long, everything perfectly healthy. The only bump in the road we have now is a little acid reflux problem, other than that she continues to gain weight, does not cry too much, and nurses well. Proud big sister Kaylee has not shown any signs of jealousy yet, she is always wanting to hold, love, kiss, and help as much as we will let her.
