Mother/Daughter Trip to Nashville TN

We had a fun time, but time to fly back home now to our other halves, sis and dad
Jama's friend from high school, Jennifer Boyle was getting married in Nashville, TN. Jama was a bridesmaid and Kaylee was a flower girl. We decided to leave baby sis and dad at home and make it a girls trip to fly down to the wedding and stay in a hotel. Kaylee was so excited "we are going on a girls trip, daddy can't come, sissy can't come" is what she would sing and chant.

Kaylee on the bus ride back to the hotel after the reception, she made me take the first bus because she was so tired. This pose happened instantly, she crashed hard, too much boys and dancing.

Kaylee wanted her turn to dance with the pretty bride too

Can you tell whats happening in this picture? Honestly, the two boys really were fighting to dance with Kaylee, sure gave mom a glance at the future, Kaylee may have more than one boy wanting her many years from now too.

What a picture, if you didn't know any better you would think he was asking her to marry him, ha ha, they just met that night, have you ever seen a young boy and girl look into each others eyes and smile like this, yikes!

I don't even know where they learned to slow dance like this, at least they are keeping a space between them.

The other girls tried to catch a dance with Kaylee's boy, but no luck

The boys mother said to Kaylee's mom "I think my son has a crush"

This boy helped Kaylee walk down the isle as he carried the ring, but he didn't warm up to hanging out with Kaylee till they hit the dance floor, once he saw the other boys interested in her he tried to claim his title back

Kaylee and the ring boy, older men, not good!

She always had to be holding hands with someone

Jama, Jennifer, and Kaylee before the wedding

mom brought Kaylee's movie player everywhere so Kaylee would be entertained

She had her hair done profesionally and got to wear a real flower ring on her head

Kaylee's hair from the back, a picture perfect flower girl for a picture perfect wedding

mommy and her big flower girl

one day this will be mommy at Kaylee's wedding :(

The bride and her flower girl

Jama, Kelly, Jennifer, Meredith, and Jessica

We stayed the first night in Jennifer's bridal suite, Kaylee got to sleep by the big window on a roll away cot, mommy shared it with her and they snuggled close all night, what a nice girls trip

Bridesmaids at the rehearsal dinner

Kaylee chats it up with the other kids at the rehearsal dinner

For someone that acts like boys have coodies, she sure seems interested in what he has to say

High School Best friends and still best friends today, Jama, Jennifer, and Meredith, these are the days we always looked forward to when we were young, being a part of each others weddings

Kaylee posed for a picture before rehearsal with some of the decorations of the park

mother/daughter lunch at panera upon arrival, so fun!

mommy always looked forward to taking her daughter out to lunch, Kaylee felt like such a special big girl

Kaylee rocking it out on the plane, she is ready for take off, does she look cool enough?

There was a delay on the plane and we had to sit on the runway, so mom took Kaylee up to the cockpit, they let her push the buttons and tried to get her to sit in the seat and take the wheel, but she was too nervous.

for some reason she kept saying "I wan't to see the co-pilot" who needs the captian/pilot anyways huh?

Bottle Days almost over

Kennadee is almost one now, so its about time to give up the bottles, but she sure still enjoys them.

Family Birthday Round 2

We stayed at papa Roys house while daddy had to work in Ohio so we had birthday cake there too, the girls thought it was funny to feed the cake to each other

I think Kennadee could get use to having icing every day

Kaylee too!

One child very cautious of what goes in the mouth (see above) and another just crams it in (see below)

She even took the candles

Papa Roy and his three Haggard girls

Mommy sings happy birthday to her girls

The Girls bring birthday cake to Nana's and CC's to celebrate

Kennadee and RC are good buds, when Kaylee was this age she didn't want anything to do with men, not this little girl.

Wow, she looks like she really admires RC

The family hanging out

RC even let Kennadee play on the stairs when nobody else would, maybe thats how he scored points in her book

This is Kennadee's first experience with birhtday cake or any kind of icing, sure looks like she likes this idea, Kaylee was too afraid to touch it and get messy at this age, but Kennadee always has enjoyed her food!

It was a cookie cake, with lots of icing

First lick off the icing, then eat the cookie, or not

Kaylee being very careful not to make a mess

They felt pretty special having such a crowd to sing to them

Kennadee's reaction as everyone sung happy birthday

Kaylee's reaction, so shy here

Uncle Steven, Kristy, and their new baby Gage

Uncle Steven and Cousin Gage, he was just born last week

Daddy holding his little nephew

Guess Kennadee isn't the baby of the family anymore :(
